Fresh out of high school, I got a job at a local portrait studio in the mall. I learned a fair amount during my 3 year stint working there, but nothing that I learned on the job quite compares to the one thing I value most that I was able to take with me upon leaving the job and branching out and creating my own business. That would be this girl.
Its crazy to think we're now going on ONLY five years of knowing each other, but Ariana is quite the catch. We did a little photo swap a few weeks ago - she photographed my senior portraits at the Old Sugar Mill, and then a few days later I photographed her and Rob, and her adorable dog Reeses at a cute little park in Auburn - and here is part one! Not only has she also branched out on her own and built a name for herself (check her out at Silver Daisies Studios) but after this session, I've decided to draft her as my personal stylist :)
I couldn't help put start off the post with this first image. Rob & Ariana look a-maze-ing, and then there is Reeses... I think he steals the show in this post! How can you NOT smile after seeing a face like that?daring enough to climb through skinny little unstable trees and sit on creek rocks? I think yes! These two were brave enough to test out whatever I could come up with. Lucky for them, I didn't get TOO crazy that day!these next two are definitely a couple of favorites. Bridges are one of my FAVORITE things to incorporate (along with awesome texture walls and stairs) so add one of my FAVORITE couples, a silly dog, and well... ultimate favorite :)
love love love when things happen naturally :) makes my job a whole lot easier. Can you tell she's a natural in front of the camera as well as behind it?
Reeses and I had some bonding time as I held on to the leash while snapping a few of Rob & Ariana. While Ariana struts her fashionista self, she's lucky we don't wear the same shoe size, or I would have happened upon "borrowing" those shoes a LONG time ago ;)
stay tuned for next week, when you'll get part two of this super cute couple and more irresistible Reeses! If I were you, I wouldn't want to miss out!
speaking of the shoes where can I get some ?!
ReplyDeleteI've had those shoes for so long, I don't even remember where I got them!
ReplyDeleteMy dog definitely stole the show though! He's so cute! haha
he so totally did steal the show!
ReplyDeleteglad we were finally able to get past our differences in the days of giant christmas ball decorations :)
