I guess I should start off by prefacing this for all their friends seeing these... These really truly aren't engagement photos... this time ;) All jokes aside, I spent a Saturday morning a few weeks back photographing this fun couple and had an AWESOME time. Between all the goofy moments and sugar high fun, we got some great photos that show off Melissa & Trevor's personalities. We kicked things off with some awesome leather jackets & Converse all star shoes on the streets of Loomis. All the years I have known Melissa, I don't think I can remember a time where she WASN'T wearing Converse! They rocked it for sure :)
A short trip up the freeway and an outfit change later, Melissa & Trevor were ready to rock it out again. This time, with a little nerdy flavor to the mix.
Melissa sure knew how to work it. The "wind blown" work was totally in her favor without even needing a giant fan to do it for us!
Seriously... let's just observe their cuteness... right here and now. and even more on the next one... Total favorites for this location!
The final stop was a spot I drive past on a semi-regular basis and had always thought how awesome it would photograph. Well, it turns out that the perfect outfit was saved for this location. A hint of R2-D2 blue worked perfectly. And yeah, more adorableness to come right here :)
And one final one, full of uber nerdy cuteness.
I had so much fun hanging out with these two and getting their adorable-ness captured forever. Thank you SO much to Melissa & Trevor for having me photograph them. It was great to see you guys again, and I hope you had as much fun as I did!
Last week you saw part one of Megan and John's Lovebird Sessions, and today I get to bring you part two! A little over a week ago now, I headed out to hills (no joke there) of San Francisco where these two are currently living to check out some pretty cool areas. We started in the Potrero Hill area where a friend of hers hand an engagement session at this fantastic "drop off" spot that showcases the city in the background. We had a little bit of fog that day, but the view was still amazing as ever! And i'm still super convinced Megan needs to be my personal fashion guide. Cutest outfits EVER!
LOOOOOOVE this one. Such a photogenic couple, that's for sure.
After our time on the hill, avoiding the occasional car, and a stop at The Legion of Honor (those to come later) we finished up at Baker Beach under the Golden Gate Bridge. The view was fantastic and the weather was just right. Couldn't have planned for a better day!
Love, love, love it!
And I'' be wrapping things up with yet ANOTHER favorite. These two make it so hard to choose!
Be sure to keep an eye out next week for part 3. You WON'T want to miss out on those ones!
I have to say that I'm pretty lucky when it comes to the friends I've gained over the years. They are all awesome in their own ways, and I guess that's why I keep them around! Megan is no exception to that group of friends. When I decided to try and do a little updating for my 2013 portfolio, Megan was the first to reply and help me on my quest to bring fresh new faces to all you lovely readers. Megan and John have been married a few years now and boy were they cute as ever! We headed out to this awesome area in Penryn (which I never knew existed) and even with the sun blazing down on us, I think we got some fantastic photos!
Totally adorable, am I right?
The area, lovingly referred to as looking like Africa, had these crazy awesome looking trees all over. So yeah, we had to make use of one. These two climbed in to that tree like champs!
As we headed back down the hills to the car, we had to go back over the train tracks. And of course, those train tracks needed to be involved!
Basically, these next two photos I love. Like, super adorable really really love.
SO much fun hanging out with these two... and you'll have to stay tuned for more from our AWESOME San Francisco adventures yesterday. You won't want to miss out on those either!
When making my list of sessions, I found that I had photographed a lot more couples than I thought I did. Of course, when I saw them all I did remember each and every session but putting them all on a blog post would have taken forever! So I split all my couples in half and picked some of my all time favorite images from the year to feature. This first half included the "non-engaged" couples, the love birds :)
We're back again with part two of this super great couple's engagement session! One thing that I somehow failed to mention in the previous post for these two is that they are both in different branches for the US Military. Nathan is in the Marine Corp, while Britt is currently off in basic training for the Army. Their dedication to each other as well as this country is amazing, and I feel extremely lucky to work with them. We kept working around the same location with their second outfit, and everything meshed together super great! Incase you somehow missed her ring in the last post, check. it. OUT! Every girl needs a good piece of bling, and Nate did a great job!
This next little series is quite possibly my favorite from the whole session. I could of literally done an entire post just from the interaction during this pose. Love love love it!
Seriously willing to climb through anything...
and sit anywhere to get images that would be special to them. Love my couples!
Britt & Nate - I am so glad to have worked with you for your engagement session. The love you have for each other shines through and anyone would have to be crazy to miss it. I cannot WAIT for your June 2012 wedding. I might just start a count down on my calendar for it :)
