Theresa & Jima's Zephyr Cove Wedding - Lake Tahoe, NV

Time for another second shooting adventure to hit the blog FINALLY.  Another one of my favorite photographers to shoot for (Doug Miranda) invited me to join him for a few weddings last summer and of course I said yes!  Doug has always been great to work with, and was actually the first photographer to ever invite me along for shooting with him.  A little nostalgia for you all :)  Theresa & Jima's wedding was the first one we photographed together, and it took place at Zephyr Cove along side Lake Tahoe.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day, starting off with a favorite photo of one of their pups!
One key ingredient to the attire for the fellas was the Jordan's for everyone's footwear. Some went for it and bought their first pair, while others cleaned up what they had already. An impressive collection of shoes, that's for sure!
After we wrapped things up with Jima & his groomsmen, we headed on over to the cabin where Theresa & her girls were finishing up getting ready before doing their bridal photos.
Doug and I headed on over to the ceremony and reception site to check things out. The tent was set up, the tables were simply elegant, and the cupcakes were to DIE for! Time ticked on by, and the ceremony was on it's way, with two adorable fur babies joining Theresa & Jima for their special day.
I just adore this little flower girl. What else is a little one to do when they're basically standing in a giant sandbox? Too cute!
After their first kiss, Jima pulled a pair of sunglasses out of his jacket for his lovely new wife. Quite the way to make sure you both look like rock stars coming back up the aisle.

The reception was underway, and between touching toasts, romantic sunset photos and everyone's favorite cake cutting, the party went off without a hitch!
The night was capped off with a romantic first dance under the moonlight followed by parent dances. It was so sweet to see the emotions Jima had throughout the day be so true to how he was feeling.
Thanks again to Doug for inviting me along to this wedding!  I am so grateful for each and every opportunity he has shared with me over the past 3 summers, and I cannot wait for more to come.
