P & J's Wedgewood at Sequoia Wedding - Placerville, CA
Hello There, 2013! I can't believe the New Year has already begun, and I'm still playing catch up. Back in October I was lucky enough to second shoot for Doug Miranda again. I shot a few weddings with him the summer prior in Tahoe and learned quite a bit about the wedding process, so it was great to catch up again the year later to work together again. This wedding was very small and intimate, which was a blast. The bride and groom knew each other in high school, and as time went by they met up again later in life to join their two small families in to one.
Once the fellas were tucked away in the wine cellar, the girls began to get ready for their portraits. The bride's daughters were her adorable bridesmaids and looked fantastic in their bridesmaid gowns.
The sun began to set, and the ceremony was on it's way to get these two married.
I just LOVE the connection between the two girls in this image. Such a fantastic sisterly bond to have on their mom's wedding day!
The reception area was decorated simple, but gorgeous. And boy did that cake look delicious!
Once the cake was cut, it was time for the party to really begin!
Thanks again, Doug for having me along last October! I had a fantastic time broadening the types of weddings I've shot :) And to all you readers out there, hope you had a fantastic 2012, and here's to an amazing 2013!
