They chose the Forresthill Bridge as their location for the session because it has special meaning to them. When Siara first came to the area, Justin took her there as the first spot to show her the "sights" of Auburn, and they have enjoyed going there ever since. We made a little bit more of an adventure out of it, hiking around a dirt area off to the side and getting some FANTASTIC views. Of course, these two were up for anything, as you can see with both of them dressed nice, and trekking through the rocks and hills in wedges :)

Siara & Justin's Forresthill Bridge Engagement Session - Auburn, CA
Back in April, I did my second bridal show ever. While it was overwhelming to say the least, it was definitely a worthwhile experience for the journey of establishing my business. At that bridal show, I submitted a door prize of an engagement session for a couple to use. Towards the end of the bridal show, an adorable young couple came up to me, introduced themselves, and said they won the prize. I was super excited to meet Siara & Justin back in April, and after months of communication we finally got their engagement session happening last Tuesday. Seriously, after all the e-mailing Siara and I have done, I feel like I'd known her forever, and that the engagement session was like meeting up with an old friend.

Uhm, seriously... can you say models? These two knew how to work it!
Alright... here come my favorites. If you follow me on facebook, you'll have seen that I couldn't hold off showing these ones as sneak peeks. I just LOVE the expression in their faces, and of course that dip is FANTASTIC. Love love love it!
Oh man, the views mixed with this adorable couple... I'm sure we could have gone forever if the sun wasn't disappearing on us.
No really, ALL these spots were just feet from the bridge. We didn't venture anywhere different to get all of these different background areas. Pretty amazing, right?
I had SUCH a blast getting to see these two again for the first time sinc April, and they were so great to talk with and get to know. I'm sure their April wedding in SoCal is going to be fantastic! Thanks again, Siara & Justin! I hope you love your photos as much as I do!

Michelle & Keith's Granite Bay Golf Club Wedding - Granite Bay, CA
Summer held on pretty long this year, and I think it is just now slowly starting to escape us and turn in to fall. There was no denying that the weather felt above average last month for Michelle & Keith's big day, but even a little extra heat wasn't going to get these two down on their luck. The entire day went off without a single flaw, and the two of them were all smiles every step of the way. This wedding was a new experience for me, since I had never been to a full Catholic mass ceremony before. The ceremony was interesting and exciting, and I could not have asked for a better experience from a more gracious bride and groom! Their wedding day began at the St. Joseph Marello Parish in Granite Bay.
The moment Keith saw Michelle come down the aisle, there was no way at all to deny his love for his wife to be.
I just LOVE how Michelle's dress and veil flowed. She looked like such a princess the entire day!
And they're now married!!
After the ceremony and family formals, we headed across town to the Granite Bay Golf Club for a few more bridal party portraits before heading out on the course with the bride & groom.
These next two are probably a few of my FAVORITES from the time out with the two of them. Seriously, could they be any more photogenic?
Keith's dad has been a member at this course for years, and naturally that led to Keith being a golfer himself. Before we called it good for the day, we made sure to have a little fun an incorporate the golf cart in to some of their portraits.
I don't think anyone could have asked for a more excited reaction from a groom. Michelle is one lucky lady!
I love seeing new creative ideas involving engagement photos from couples brought in to the wedding. Michelle's parents had a wine label made just for them on their wedding day!
The reception carried on with speeches and toasts, full of happiness, laughter and appreciation for the newlyweds and their lives together
Once the music got going, there was no stopping this crowd. Guests of all ages were ready to show off their moves and have a fantastic time!
The cake was small and sweet, much like Michelle. But as soon as the cake was in her hand, Keith was in for a... treat? Of course, he wasn't going to let his bride have ALL the fun ;)
Michelle and Keith - thank you so much again for having us as a part of your gorgeous wedding day. It was fantastic to get to know and work with the two of you these past few months, and I know your starting on a wonderful journey together as husband and wife. Best wishes to the two of you!
