2012 New Product - moo cards

Since the rebranding began, I knew one of the first things I needed to get done quickly were new business cards. Spending a lot of time looking at my old cards and wondering how anyone managed to read them (really. they were pretty busy!) I wanted to create something clean and simple. At the same time, I wanted them to be fun and possibly even a conversation piece. After meeting up with some photographers in Vegas last year at WPPI 2011 and seeing their cards, I knew exactly what company I wanted to use.
These moo cards are great, in the sense that they are quite simaler to the idea of baseball trading cards. When I was younger, I had stacks and stacks of various trading cards, and having this "flash back" with my new product was so much fun! Each card has the same front with my contact information, but all of the backs are various photos that I chose to display.
Since I'm currently focusing on bringing in the Wedding/Engagement crowd, that was the theme I went for with my cards. I picked some of my favorite images from weddings and portrait sessions and made them the back of my cards! Just so you can see all the options, here are my favorite images, grouped together by category.
I'm so excited to take these with me to Vegas next month (about 25 days!) and share them with my friends from last year as well as the new people I meet. Of course, I will also be sharing them around locally, so If we run in to each other here in California or there in Las Vegas, don't forget to pick your favorite!

This past week has brought a decent amount of "changes" business wise. New props have arrived, forums have been joined, workshops have been scheduled, and to top it all off, my computer has arrived! It came last saturday, and I love it! It takes up MUCH less space, while being efficient and have everything right there and ready to go. AND my desk got so much cleaner in the process! While I'm still lacking in the program upgrade department (they're in the mail on their way!) I couldn't be happier with this computer purchase that was far overdue. Next change to come hopefully soon is new business cards!

So i'm making up for last week's last of post by giving you two photos today :) i totally spaced last week, and the only pictures i took aren't worth sharing... really, they're the window in my living room. not thrilling at all. anyways, here are some of the things that have gone on this week!
i've been having people ask for gift certificates, and i figured if i was being asked on multiple occasions, i might as well break down and make something generic, and still awesome at the same time. with the help of a sassy designs template, her digital papers, and a cute lorelai, i now have these as part of my products to offer. so yes! if you would like to purchase a gift certificate for yourself or someone you know, send me an email! i'm planning a super awesome summer offer with them as well, so stay tuned for that!
While you're reading this, i am already headed out to second shoot a wedding today with Georgette of G Aronow Photography. It will be my first full wedding of the season, as well as my first time as a second shooter. I spend the past few weeks working with a d300 instead of my usual d80, getting batteries charged, memory cards labeled (really, can you tell they're mine? haha) and making sure i know what to wear! I'm super excited, and i'm sure you'll hear about how it goes soon enough :)

about two months ago now, i posted a facebook status right after i had gotten home from WPPI about my new found inspiration coming from the m&m store on the vegas strip. finally, almost two months later, everything came together, and i got these put together to give to clients! Even though i couldn't get the EXACT color to match my obsession called my kelly moore camera bag, i'm SO happy with how they turned out, and i can't wait to hear what people think! have a session with me, and you'll receive a little bag of your own to enjoy when you receive your final images :)
