Friday Feet - Feb 11, 2011

apparently this week we all decided to spend some time outdoors. well, with the exception of amy, who had a little friend come in to her feet picture that SHOULD have stayed outside. gah. i need to stop looking at it now. it gives me the CREEPS! happy friday, everybody :)
amy - "There I was, just mining my own business, when suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw that I was being ATTACKED by a GIANT spider! Just kidding. He was scooting around in the school building where I do all my "waiting for class to start" waiting, and he stopped right in the middle of the floor. So I took a picture of us hanging out together. I did not squish him, but I did move to a different spot. I saw him later that day again, alive and well. I named him Will, in honor of the building he lives in."

emily - "big feet, little feet. shoe-d feet, painted feet. her last morning before she turned three was spent with me, buzz lightyear, mushu, and princess movies. oh, and her crying little brother that was probably in my left arm at this point. overall, a pretty good morning, and a kick off to a very busy saturday."jenny -"this week we have railroad feet. because really what better way to spend a beautiful sunny week?"

kasey - "During our yard work, I discovered a happy little Lady Bug chillin' on a leaf, so I took a break to snap a shot. Papa came over to see what was stealing my attention, so I have a rare shot of his feet with mine. :3 Happy Friday."

amy - "This is lightning, our rat. He loves rolling around the house in his ball while i clean!"
emily - "some late night skyping with kasey over in germany :) although, makes me really wish my toes were painted some pretty color. hah"
jenny - "The feet aren't doing too many exciting things today. Filling out their grad school application and facebooking while dressed up in their exciting professional wear. (for the evening job)"
kasey - "What do you do during the weeks when its raining, you have no car, and friends are in low supply? Read! I've been reading Naamah's Kiss all week. the 7th book of my favourite line, and its every bit as good as the rest."

Friday Feet - Jan 7, 2011

we made it through the new year, and welcome you to our first 2011 feet posting! some of us were able to go on adventures again this week, but it seems the majority of us hid from the cold world with our houses and blankets. happy friday everyone :)
amy - "This may look like a pile of blankets, but really it's my feet, enjoying the warmness and the end of their second to last week of break. "
emily - "this is what happens when the blog leader forgets to take feet pictures. you get post-work dinner on the couch while watching 'icarly' feet"
jenny - "My feet went ice skating in tahoe this week with their very favorite feet."
kasey - "Been working on some commissions and writing my stories. So i'm at the computer a lot. My friday feet are resting on the legs of my chair."

its christmas eve! and our feet have been mighty busy this week. (or even today alone... i admit friday totally snuck up on me this week, so my shot alone is from christmas eve) in exciting news (also categorized under "i begged for a future photo shoot" news) amy is now engaged to her amazing boy luke! super cute, gorgeous ring, fabulous couple :) here is the public CONGRATS to those love birds ;) and to start us off as usual, the newly engaged amy!
amy - "Getting ready to head to Winnemucca for the holidays! These are my "I'm engaged!" feet! Don't they look so happy!? ^^"
emily - "it's christmas eve. new pjs, presents under the tree. christmas day is just hours away!"

Friday Feet - Dec 3, 2010

hoorah! our first feet post of december. how crazy that we've made it this far already! with most of us gearing up for finals, our creativity may lack a little the next few weeks, but bear with us. we'll have some exciting feet plans once the holidays get closer :)
amy - "Rue and I just chilling on the couch. It's lonely here with Luke gone at training in Utah. Good thing I have Rue here to keep me warm! Nothing like some hot chocolate, a warm dog and organic chemistry to make an evening grand. ^^"
emily - "every year for my birthday, i get a macy's gift card from my aunt. i never shop at macys, so the last three years they have stockpiled. yesterday (12.01), i found boots. today, they became mine. boots originally priced $89.99. i left macy's with only $5.16 charged to my debit card."
jenny - "a haiku to go with my feet: autumn colors so vibrant/fall from the treetops/never could they displease me"
kasey - "snow feets"

so i decided to spice things up a little bit on here.
i'm a rather active blog follower, right?
i mean, you should look at my list, its HUGE.one photographer in particular (sheena jibson) has sparked my interest
and on her more personal blog does a little feature called friday feet.

so, with being the slacker i am at updating over here, i felt i needed a little push.
and so i thought to myself "i have feet... i have friends... and i have fridays, why don't i put all three to good use?"
and so, starting this friday (september 10th) you will see not one, not two, but FOUR pairs of feet.
even international feet. the four of us have been friends since high school, and have spanned out and about in our newly starting adult lives. so here is your preview about who's feet you'll be seeing
jenny: auburn, ca. child development major & aspiring teacher.
emily: loomis, ca. photography major & dance instructor
kasey: wiesbaden, germany. airforce wife & artist
amy: sun valley, nevada. nursing major & dog finder (no really... i swear they flock to her)
so there you have it! all four of us, hopefully gearing up for this. we'll see how long until we get tired of our own feet

Stephanie & Jon - Peek

Fun little "faux wedding" session held this past thursday at the Sacramento LDS temple. I've known Stephanie for quite some time now, possibly back to 7th grade when we were in advanced band together (hah wow. that long?) all the way through high school. She married her sweetheart jon after she graduated high school, and they'll be celebrating 5 years this november! These two were awesome enough to help me work on building my portfolio this summer, and i couldn't thank them enough! Here is a peek, and believe me, there are more to come!
p.s. needless to say, steph is the queen of uber cute shoes :)
